2.Complete dental impressions or scanning.

• Intra-oral 3D scanning can be completed in a few minutes.
• Depending on your residing area, dentists would be available to perform oral examinations, panoramic X-rays, and complete intra-oral scans or traditional dental molds. 
  • Then send us the X-ray photos and scanned STL files. Traditional dental molds need to be mailed to us.
  • For customers who complete the sampling by themselves, we will provide a discount of 100 US dollars.
     

3. Personalized plan developed by a team of professional orthodontists (2 weeks)

4. Customized production of aligners  (0.5 – 1 month)

5. Start the treatment plan (wear 4 to 12 months; wearing time depends on personal circumstance and treatment plan)

The Typical Orthodontic Process

In a standard orthodontic process, a dentist first assesses the patient’s teeth and then sends the patient’s information to the aligner company. The aligner company, with the expertise of a professional orthodontic team and specialized software, develops a treatment plan, which is then sent back to the dentist. The dentist explains the plan to the patient and proceeds with the treatment.

If any adjustments to the plan are needed during the process, the same procedure is repeated—passing through the dentist, the aligner company, and back to the patient—until the treatment is complete.

In this traditional system, the dentist, patient, and aligner company form an interconnected relationship. Routine dental check-ups, tooth extractions, cavity treatments, and complex cases requiring traditional fixed braces must be handled directly by professional dentists. The dentist plays a crucial role as the liaison between the aligner company and the patient, ensuring clear communication and seamless execution of the treatment plan.

A More Direct Approach for Milder Cases

For many patients who only require mild to moderate orthodontic corrections, and whose teeth are otherwise healthy, the process can be streamlined. If patients can communicate directly with the aligner company, they can:
